How the GIPAC is managed ?
The association is administered by a board of 8 professional members (UTAP : Tunisian Union of Agriculture and Fisheries, UTICA : Tunisian Union of Industry, Trade and Crafts) and 4 members representing the government (Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources, Ministry of Trade and crafts, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Industry, Small and Medium Enterprises).
The current president of the Board is Mr. Chakib Triki, rearer of broiler and hen, elected for 3 years. The administrative and financial staff is governed by Decree No. 894-1396 of 28 November 1984 as amended by Decree No. 1165 of 23 May 1994 establishing the statutes of such associations and No. 2005-2872 of 24 October 2005 approving the amendment to the statutes of inter-professional associations in agriculture and agri-food sector. |
